Tianjin is one of the four municipal cities under the jurisdiction of Chinese central government and is the largest industrial and port in north China. Tianjin covers an area of 11,300 square kilometers and there are 13 districts and five counties under its jurisdiction. total population is 9.55 million.

Tianjin is well situated for travels by land, to the east is the Bohai Sea and to the west 120 KM is Beijing. After the China implemented its reforms and open policies, Tianjin is became one of the first coastal cities to open to the outside world. Weather & Temperature of Tianjin
Tianjin's climate is characterized by hot, humid summers, due to the monsoon, and dry, cold winters, due to the Siberian anticyclone. Spring is windy but dry, Tianjin highest temperature is in July and is about 34C; while the lowest is in January, and is about -4C, so late spring and autumn are the best times for you to travel there.
