At the Advance Asia 50 Summit it was announced that the Australian State of New South Wales will set up offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou to promote business and tourism cooperation between China and New South Wales, including Sydney.
NSW Premier Nathan Rees said that the establishment of the offices in China shows that NSW places great importance to the trade and cooperation relations with China. It is hoped that the new offices will help strengthen cooperation between China and NSW on trade, investment, tourism, and education as well as providing world-class products and services to the Chinese market.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between NSW and China's Guangong Province. The office of NSW to be set up in Guangzhou will work to further promote relations between the two parties. |
