A time-honored Beijing snack restaurant, Jin Fang, Established back in 1926, Jin Fang was originally named "Rong Xiang Cheng" and has been famous for its Muslim-flavored snacks, particularly its Fried Creamy Cake, mooncakes and the lantern festival dumplings. Jin Fang was defined as Time-honored Restaurant in Beijing by Beijing Municipal Committee of Commerce.
After five months of closure at Ciqikou in southern Chongwen district of Beijing On November 20, 2009, Jin Fang reopened to the public and reinvited back dozens of its senior cooks to prepare 80 kinds of popular Beijing snacks for the locals. In the newly opened restaurant, customers can also enjoy watching what the busy chefs are up to while eating thanks to an "open" kitchen.
