Ding Tai Feng was named as one of Asia's Top Ten Restaurant of the year in 1990's. The most famous food is Shanghai style soup dumplings, although the price is a little higher(about RMB40 for a steamer) than other local dumpling's restaurant, but these dumplings will reward for your efforts.

Ding Tai Feng dumpling's skin is paper thin and delicate (they will test your chopstick skills). The dumplings are wrapped perfectly evenly all around so there are no clumpy doughy bits. Din Tai Fung has a special technique for ensuring a healthy dose of delicious juice within each little package, which explodes in your mouth in a great savory taste sensation.

On the whole, Ding Tai Feng Restaurant have a good location in downtown, but it's although difficult to find it for foreigners, Located in No.24 Xinyuanxili Zhongjie(新源西里中街24号), near by the Yuyang Hotel Beijing.
